Water features bring a calm and serene atmosphere to any garden, creating a focal point to your pond. Enjoy the soothing ambience of water in motion at any time, allowing you to relax, unwind and escape the stresses of your day by simply stepping out into your garden. Water features provide an excellent source of oxygenation for ponds, a crucial factor in the keeping of fish - especially Koi.
Waterfalls
Tall vertical falls of water creating anything from a light trickle to a spectacular deluge. Available as pre-formed moulds or hand-crafted rock features.
Bespoke Made
Naturalistic, hand-crafted waterfalls are a true passion of ours. We have created many cascading and slow moving falls using locally and internationally sourced rocks. From small indoor tropical house falls, providing excellent sources of humidity - through to the loud crashing movements of water into large bodies of water, creating incredible focal points and bringing life to your pond.
Pre-formed Moulds
Preformed waterfalls are a popular and easy way to add a waterfall to an existing pond. They come in a variety of materials, including plastic, resin, and fiberglass, and in a range of sizes and colors. Preformed waterfalls are often the most economical option and are a good choice for smaller ponds or spaces where space is limited.
Infinity Waterfalls
Infinity Waterfalls are re-circulating waterfalls without the presence of a pond. They are also known in the industry as pond-less waterfalls. If space is limited or you simply just don't want a pond then they are a great choice, along with the benefit of being low maintenance addition.
A pond-less waterfall uses a pump to recirculate water from an underground reservoir through a waterfall spillway and back into the reservoir. The water creates the illusion of seemingly disappearing into the ground.
Just like traditional waterfalls, infinity falls can sourced as pre-manufactured moulds or you can allow our creativity to flow using natural stone and gravels to achieve a beautifully crafted flow of water.
Fountains
A vertical jet of water, ranging from a continuous spout, which may be used to oxygenate a pond, to a spectacular projection centrepiece.
Fountain sprays come in a variety of shapes, Bell and Tulip sprays are the best choices for open and windy areas. Whereas Bubblers (pictured below) are the simplest and most maintenance free Fountain Heads but need a stronger Fountain Pump to make it look attractive.
Streams
A long watercourse, using pumps and downhill movement to create a continuous circular flow, often producing a relaxing babbling sound. Streams more often than not incorporate waterfalls and minimalist damming to disrupt the flow of water, forming interest and tranquil sound. Just as with the construction of tailor made waterfalls, streams are another one of our fortes - utilising natural rocks and gravels, strategically placed for the creation of river beds and banks. These man-made streams can meander their way into ponds or disappear into unseen reservoirs below the ground, just as the infinity waterfalls do.
Standalone Features
There isn't a great deal of need for our services when it comes to stand-alone water features, but we do feel they are worth a mention and they do certainly make great additions to garden spaces. These types of water features aren't usually associated with ponds and form more architectural appeal by themselves within a garden. Available as statues, well pumps, natural and artificial rocks, spherical balls - if water can be pumped through an object, well its a water feature!
